Austin Fusion Art Gallery is a hybrid for-profit and nonprofit platform that brings together globally emerging artists with blue-chip masters and the historic collection of the Kalos Kagathos Foundation. By blending diverse styles, genres, and mediums, we create meaningful cultural resonance that enriches our understanding of art and the times in which it was created.
Twenty percent of net proceeds support foundation initiatives in the arts, athletics, and community projects. We believe that when artists, collectors, and communities come together, we build something greater than the sum of our parts — putting Austin and its collectors on the global map while democratizing access to meaningful art.
Founder Bio (Christy Cones, PhD):
Christy Cones, PhD, is the founder of Austin Fusion Art Gallery and Director of the Kalos Agathos Foundation. With a background in art history, classical studies, and fine art consulting, she stewards a rich collection of sculptures, prints, letters, and historical artifacts spanning Olympic aquatics, WWII/Korean War legacy, and modern masters.
Driven by the kalos kagathos ideal of excellence in mind, body, and spirit, Christy created Austin Fusion to subvert traditional art market elitism and foster authentic cultural meaning through storytelling, hybrid impact, and community connection.
